About the Author



Irene Herz, author of Paul Harris Grow Up, with godson David

When President of her local Rotary Club, Irene Herz learned a great deal about the fine work Rotary International has done since its founding in 1905. Realizing with surprise that there was no book for children about its founder, she decided to write one herself.

Irene Herz has been a children’s librarian, and a manager of internet development. She currently works as a freelance web designer and devotes her spare time to Rotary and to the Taconic Opera, of which she is a member. Ms. Herz is the author of one previous children’s book, Hey, Don’t Do That!, and several short stories.
